When I tore them all down, I found not only two brush leads that wern't tight (wo turns loose) I also found this little issue.

It was also pinched under the shoe preventing it from seating to the housing properly, in fact I'm surprised the armature didn't rub against it.

Eric from mountain Machine came to the rescue and worked me up these shafts which has a 1 1/8th" tail shaft to match the drive end of the front motor.

Back to the shafts and armatures, the Avance 9's have a collar imbeded in the comm which grabs the shaft to tight, and they can't be pressed out, so yu have to bore them out.
