I’ve been getting a lot of how to tell if your motor brushes are advanced or not.  Being a picture says a thousand words I thought I’d just put up a picture for those who might not know how to tell.  So for those who would like to see what the heck I’m talking about here a pic that should help.  The motor used was advanced for a CCWDE (Counter Clockwise Drive End) and can be seen in the step by step section here.
I also made time to clean up an up an old EVDL post I did about basic motor disassembly and bearing changing.  It can be found as the motor 101 page under the contact info or by just clicking here.   I’ll look through more of my old posts and apply those I feel might offer insight in working with motors as I can find time 8^)
